Your Brake Service Options
Brake pad replacement, rotor replacement and services are the most common brake services you'll need for your vehicle, as they'll both become worn over time with driving. Generally, every 30,000 to 35,000 miles is a good time to replace your brake pads, while your rotors should be able to last around 50,000 to 70,000 miles before needing a replacement.
When Should I Get Brake Service?
If you're trying to determine when you should get brake service, some things to look for include sluggish performance from your brakes or other warning signs from your vehicle, such as if you hear noises when you brake, like a screeching or squealing noise, or a decrease in stopping power. You might also notice your vehicle turning to one side or the other as you stop, or rattling or clicking noises as you drive through town. Another sign is if you press on the brake pedal and it vibrates routinely as you brake.
You can also see the condition of brake pads and rotors from the outside, too, and if they look worn, that's a good indicator you should bring them in and get them checked out or replaced here at our service center.
