Trims
The new Outlander comes in eight different colors. The vehicle also comes in four different trim options. The 2.0 ES, the SP 2.0 2WD, the SE 2.0 2WD, and the GE 2.0 2WD. Standard features on the ES include LED-powered head, tail, and daytime running lights. The SP features a carbon grille, a rooftop spoiler along with front and rear undercover protection. The SE boasts automatic headlights, automatic high beams, moisture detecting wipers, forward collision, and lane departure warning systems. The GE has all of the features offered on the SE plus soft-touch upholstery and a black headliner and pillars.
Technology
Upgrade the infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen. Link the system with a smartphone or mobile device to enjoy playlists via Bluetooth. Drivers in the Silver Spring area appreciate the ability to make or take calls via voice command. Add a couple of USB ports to ensure that all of your mobile gadgets remained charged during the journey.
Safety
Mitsubishi desires to keep Outlander owners safer by including several safety systems on the various trim models. The forward collision system gives drivers audio and visual warnings should a pedestrian, cyclist, or other vehicle attempts to cross Outlander's path. The system also automatically engages the brakes if needed to prevent disaster. Should drivers accidentally veer into the wrong lane while in the city or on the highway, the lane departure system also provides drivers with a warning. These features will keep you and other Hyattsville drivers safer.
Performance
The Sport comes standard with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter, and all-wheel-drive that boasts a fuel rating of 24 miles per gallon in town and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. The GT model offers an upgrade to a more powerful 2.4-liter engine.
